Home design has become less elderly friendly- Miami Herald

By 2035, in the U.S. 1 in 3 households are expected to have someone aged 65 or older. Roughly 17 million households are expected to house a person with a disability that impacts physical mobility.

AARP surveyed seniors and 87% said they wanted to remain at home as long as possible. At the rate physical immobility is going for America, architects should consider the disabled.
