Developer lands construction financing for North Beach and Brickell projects – The Real Deal

After paying $24.8M for the two-story motel in Brickell, Optimum USA Brickell 2, managed by CEO Ricardo Tabet, became the owners back in 2014. With its allowance of 24 floors on the land zone of the area and potentially more under Miami 21 Code, There’s is a lot of room to build atop this nearly one-acre plot.

The same company also has lined up another property at 6800 Indian Creek Drive and is already in its planning stage. The Miami Beach Design Review Board unanimously approved plans for a 30-unit luxury condominium project to sit just off the river’s edge, with a dozen docking spaces. The LLC went through an $11.25M purchase of the two lots which total at 1.1 acres, of which the property was seized in foreclosure in 2010 after a previous sight went into bankruptcy.
